A Wild Snowdonian Elopement- Jenna Kathleen Photography

There’s always something so incredible about a simple, totally stripped back elopement. Just two people, in the wilds of Snowdonia, declaring their love for each other. No pomp and circumstance, no crowds of guests, no table plans or centrepieces. Just love.

This styled elopement shoot by Jenna Kathleen Photography (created with her friend Tracey WIlliams Photography), was planned to be as pared down and simple but beautiful as possible. Jenna says : “Me and Tracey mainly just wanted to show couples that they don’t have to stick to the norm. They can just as easily bugger off to the Welsh countryside in a £40 dress that’s not even white and have an amazing time without all the stress of planning the big wedding!”

That’s the beauty of an elopement- no stress, no planning, no worries- just you two and your love, out in the beautiful countryside. To suit this, Jenna and Tracey kept the outfits simple too. The couple had their own leather jackets and they got the dress from ASOS- I love that they went for an awesome navy gown instead of white- so cool! The stunningly wild, hand-tied flowers by Serendipity Flowers are perfectly suited to the low key shoot too- I just love the pops of blue! This shoot really is the perfect inspiration for a wild and free couple planning their elopement- there’s nothing too formal or fancy, and it’s all about the love!
