Rosella and Ed has a picture perfect day at Lancashire venue, Owen House Wedding Barn. I adored the styling, and all the twinkly fairy lights! They also had bubbles instead of confetti, which, as well as making for stunning photos from their photographer, Samantha Broadley, is a great eco-friendly alternative, and a lovely idea when venues won’t allow confetti!
Samanthana Broadley, Rosella & Ed’s photographer, says: “Rosella and Ed’s Big Day was my first wedding at Owen House barn. I had been looking forward to it for so long and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the styling to the relaxed atmosphere this wedding had it all. Even bubble confetti which I think I loved more than the children! All the guests were lovely and really enjoyed the atmosphere the barn creates and I think they loved the dance floor even more, the band got the dance pumping from the off. The simplicity of the barn was perfect you really can make it your own. We had great fun for the group bridal shots as well, making the most of the hay bales. Thanks again for having me Rosella and Ed. I’m now looking forward to my next Own House Barn wedding!”
Let’s Hear from the Bride…
Rosella said: “We met travelling the Philippines with friends, and got together 6 months later. We became good friends first and it just grew from there. For the wedding, we had no theme- we just wanted a celebration with our friends and family- nothing too formal. We had been to a wedding of a friend in a barn 6 months before I proposed and knew we wanted something similar. We looked for wedding Barns near us and found Owen House Wedding Barn.
We loved the venue because it ticked every box for us. Also, the venue owner we very honest about what would work and what wouldn’t. Picking the venue, catering and band was the easy bit! It was all the little extras which were stressful and keeping track of spending. However, it all came together perfectly. There would be nothing we would have done differently. The only thing is the day went so fast and the week before hand, I wish we would of taken a step back to take it in more!”
